MARINA The LOVE + FEAR Tour

Digital Noise Mag had the privilege to attend the SOLD OUT electro pop artist, MARINA previously known as Marina and the Diamonds, on her LOVE + FEAR tour at The MET in Philadelphia, Pa. on September 14, 2019. The British singer, songwriter and award winning platinum selling artist; released three albums that hit the UK Top 10 charts the first album ‘The Family Jewels’ (2010), ‘Electra Heart’ (2012) reaching number 1, and ‘FROOT’ (2015). Now expecting nothing less from her most recent recordLOVE + FEAR’ which was released on April 26, 2019. The album, created into two collections LOVE contain 8 tracks and FEAR with the other 8 tracks. LOVE is filled with the ideas of enjoying life, empowerment, and appreciation of labor in love. While FEAR brings up the discussion of the desire of unity within the human race, believing in love, and finding a purpose. One of the more popular hits “Handmade Heaven” came from a place of yearning for a more natural life, but also thinking about the world in a pre-human destruction. MARINA didn’t stop there the singer also performed fan favorites such as “Primadonna”, “Teen Idle,  and “Bubblegum Bitch” off her ‘Electra Heart’ album. While ending the night with her most well-known hit “How to be a Heartbreaker” getting everyone on their feet jumping and screaming to the beat, but throughout the entirety of the show the fans sung along so in-sync by the time the encore came around no one wanted the night to end.
