Papa Roach is staring at a very busy 2020, and among the plans in store for the band is a new documentary.
Bassist Tobin Esperance said in a new interview with Goetia Media, “We’ve got some surprises coming celebrating our first record, ‘Infest.’ All of the footage that we’ve acquired over the past 20 years, we’re hoping to put it into a documentary that’s gonna come out soon. And all the while, we’ve been in the studio making new music and just kind of experimenting. We’re looking forward to putting out new music, maybe some reinterpretations of old music and also a documentary. And we’re just gonna keep touring and celebrating life and music.”
Frontman Jacoby Shaddix alluded to these plans back in August 2019 on Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown where he said, “We’re brewing up something that’s going to be next-level to celebrate the album…In 2020, we’re doing some really special events around it. It’s going to be dope.”
Papa Roach is currently on a European tour with Hollywood Undead and Ice Nine Kills until mid-March when the return stateside for an arena tour with Five Finger Death Punch and I Prevail. To check out the band’s complete tour itinerary, head over to PapaRoach.com.
