Chris Cornell’s birthday yesterday (July 20) was marked by a number of new project announcements, including a new biography and the first episode of a mental health video series hosted by his eldest daughter, Lily Cornell Silver.

First, the new biography, Total F*cking Godhead – The Biography of Chris Cornell, was announced, and its release date is set from July 28. The book is authored by Seattle-based music journalist Corbin Reiff and is being released via Simon & Schuster imprint Post Hill Press. The book also provides a comprehensive look at Cornell’s life both on and off stage.

Total F*cking Godhead – The Biography of Chris Cornell is available for pre-order at Amazon.

Lastly, Lily Cornell Silver shared the first episode of her new mental health interview series “Mide Wide Open,” which can be viewed below.

Cornell Silver shared the following statement along with the episode: “Today, in honor of my dad’s birthday, here is the first episode of Mind Wide Open. I created this interview series with the goal of helping to normalize and destigmatize conversations around mental health, and if it can make even one person feel seen and heard I will have accomplished my goal. Thank you.”

Cornel Silver first announced the series back in May saying, “Guests will include mental health professionals, public figures, peers, and others who will share their stories and struggles, as well as provide knowledge and insight.”
