Dave Grohl ‘Hanukkah Sessions’: Hear Cover of The Knack’s ‘Frustrated’

Dave Grohl and producer Greg Kurstin continued their ‘Hanukkah Sessions’ series last night with a cover of The Knack’s “Frustrated.”

The seventh cover in the series was released on the seventh night of Hanukkah, and its description on YouTube reads as follows:

“Tonight we’re featuring 4 nice Jewish boys whose biggest hit was a song about a nice Jewish girl… “My Shalom-a” or something like that… We’re huge fans of New Wave (as well as the “old wave” that came after Moses parted the Red Sea)…so we were psyched to get to cover one of our favorites…The Knack!”

Grohl and Kurstin’s ‘Hanukkah Sessions’ series features a cover from a Jewish artist released on all eight nights of Hanukkah. The series has featured a variety of artists from various genres. The Knack’s “Frustrated” was Grohl and Kurstin’s second foray into classic rock for the series. On the fifth night of Hanukkah, they released a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Rainy Day Women ♯12 & 35.”
