A new Beavis & Butt-Head movie, a new Dave Grohl series and a bunch of MTV reboots were recently announced for Paramount+.
Paramount+, the rebranded and expanded CBS All Access, is set to launch on March 4, and yesterday (February 24), the service announced a ton of new programming that subscribers can expect. Among them is a new Beavis & Butt-Head movie, which was announced in a faux Zoom call by our favorite animated metalheads. You can see the announcement below, however, a release date is not currently known.
In the vain of rocker-based content, Dave Grohl is set to have a series on Paramount+. Per Deadline, the six-part series is based on From Cradle to Stage: Stories from the Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars, a book written by his mother, Virginia Hanlon Grohl. Like the Beavis & Butt-Head movie, a release date is not yet known.
Rounding out the music-centric content on Paramount+ is a series of reboots of classic MTV/VH1 shows including Unplugged, Yo! MTV Raps and the previously announced Behind the Music.
Paramount+ will have two price tiers:
-An ad-supported $4.99 version with exclusive live sports, NFL football live, CBS, CBS News On Demand and access to exclusive films and TV series
-An ad-free (except for live programming) $9.99 version with everything listed above plus move live CBS Sports broadcasts, live & local CBS Network news stations and CBS Live TV.
