Carrie Underwood, whose new gospel album My Savior is released this coming Friday (26), will bring it to life in a virtual concert performance from Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on Easter Sunday (April 4).

The seven-time Grammy winner will perform songs from the album at the special free event, which will screen live around the world on her official Facebook page at 11am CT that day. Donations to My Savior: Live From The Ryman will benefit Save the Children.

There will be guest appearances by gospel great CeCe Winans, who duets with Underwood on the album‘s “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” and singer/songwriter and NEEDTOBREATHE frontman Bear Rinehart, who sings with her on another traditional hymn, “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus.”

The event will also feature contributions from southern gospel and harmonica great Buddy Greene and the ten-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally. Both of them also play on My Savior. Underwood’s backing vocalists will feature, and there will also be a string ensemble and gospel choir.

“This is an album I have always wanted to record and I’m thrilled to be able to bring these uplifting, inspirational songs to life in this special way,” says Underwood. “It means so much to be able to bring this event to people in their homes on a day that holds so much meaning for us spiritually and to be able to raise much needed funds and awareness for the incredible work of Save the Children as we celebrate the importance of family.”

My Savior: Live From The Ryman will remain exclusively on Facebook for 48 hours. Fans can RSVP here. Donations will be accepted throughout the livestream and for 48 hours after, to aid the work of Save the Children in over 100 countries.

My Savior is released on CD and digitally on March 26. Pre-order it here.
