Organizers for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival have revealed an exciting line-up of talent for this year’s events as they celebrate their return to the fields of Manchester, TN over Labor Day Weekend (September 2 – 5). 2021 also marks the hallowed festival’s 20th anniversary.

Offering something for every fan, the musically-diverse line-up includes headlining performances by Tame Impala, Lana Del Rey, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Foo Fighters, and Tyler, The Creator. Kicking off the events on Thursday evening will be a Grand Ole Opry showcase featuring a variety of special guests.

The first evening will also include appearances by jazz artist Nubya Garcia, rising soul star Devon Gilfillian, and electronic duo The Funk Hunters. Friday’s day-long schedule boasts the likes of Grace Potter, Glass Animals, Nelly, Marcus King Band, Run the Jewels, Janelle Monáe, Primus, Deftones, Young Thug, and Dashboard Confessional.

Highlights from Saturday’s line-up include Jon Batiste, a superjam led by Sylvan Esso, Remi Wolf, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, My Morning Jacket, and Phoebe Bridgers. Rounding out the weekend will be Lil Baby, recent Grammy winner Brittany Howard, The Struts, Leon Bridges, Flogging Molly, and Deadmau5.

“It’s exciting to see Tennessee stages come back to life in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this internationally acclaimed festival,” said Governor Bill Lee in a statement. “Fans are ready to gather together and celebrate their shared love of music once again. We welcome them back for a full Bonnaroo and what is sure to be a truly unforgettable event!”

To celebrate the return of Bonnaroo, after last year’s pandemic-related cancelation, as well as to commemorate the festival’s 20th anniversary, digital artist Archan Nair is creating a one-of-a-kind NFT. Fans can visit MakersPlace to purchase “a special 1/1 animated version of the 2021 Lineup Poster…featuring over 100 artists appearing at the festival.”

Tickets for the four-day event are currently on sale at Bonnaroo.com. According to a press release, visitors and artists alike can expect enhanced health and safety protocols amid COVID-19.
