As Tony Bennett celebrates his 95th birthday, and he and Lady Gaga prepare for a highly anticipated two-night stand at Radio City Music Hall beginning tonight (August 3), the singer and Gaga have revealed the title and tracklist for their second collaborative album, Love for Sale, a Cole Porter tribute. The October 1 release is widely rumored to be Bennett’s final recording.
Love for Sale is the second album from the duo, following their 2014 chart-topper Cheek to Cheek. MTV will premiere a video for the track “I Get A Kick Out Of You” Friday, August 6 at noon ET.
The Porter tribute album is said to include solo selections from both Bennett and Gaga as well as duets. The album cover graphic includes a photo of Bennett, acclaimed for his visual art over the years, holding up a sketch of Gaga.
To attend the Radio City shows, fans must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof upon entry. The only exception is for children under the age of 16, who will be allowed to provide proof of a negative antigen or PCR Covid-19 test, and are accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult. Gaga and Bennett first teamed up on their collaborative 2014 album Cheek to Cheek, where together they tackled classics from the Great American Songbook. The album was so successful that they began working on the follow-up in 2018. They’ll be previewing songs from that album this week at Radio City Music Hall, during what will surely be can’t miss events.
