Metallica fans will have the opportunity to take a guitar lesson from the band themselves thanks to a new partnership.
Per Billboard, music education platform Yousician has announced their new “Spotlight” series, which is their take on “Master Class” lessons. The series will feature “added interactive elements provided by Yousician’s real-time feedback technology.”
The series launched on August 27 with their first course featuring Jason Mraz. The next course will feature Juanes beginning in October, with Metallica’s course currently slated for early 2022.
Billboard notes, “Metallica’s course will offer a ‘unique window’ into the band’s songwriting process and include tutorials by band members themselves showing users how to play their most requested songs.”
