VOLUMES SHARE VIDEO FOR TITLE TRACK FROM NEW ALBUM HAPPIER?

ALBUM OUT NOVEMBER 19 ON FEARLESS RECORDS

BAND CURRENTLY ON HEADLINE TOUR

VOLUMES will release their new album Happier? on November 19 via Fearless Records. Pre-order the metallic juggernaut here

Today, the band has shared the video for the title track. Watch it here.

The song is an exercise in contrasts. Shimmering melodies coexist alongside bloodthirsty vocals, buzzsaw riffs, and gorgeous clean vocals and choruses. The song is a bit unexpected, as it’s as pretty as it is metallic. Ultimately, though, it is a perfect execution of the band’s dynamic style. It closes out the album and is one you’ll keep coming back to.

“‘Happier?’ is about how you watch someone destroy themselves and ultimately end up in a darker, negative space and feeling like your hands are tied,” the band explains about the lyrical content. “It’s about feeling helpless to the fact that you once knew someone completely different then the person who is standing in front of you.”

In 2010, Volumes burst onto the hard rock scene with The Concept of Dreaming EP. Via followed in 2011 and No Sleep arrived in 2014. After initially parting ways with Barr back in 2015, the band remained prolific and dropped Different Animals [2017] and the Coming Clean EP [2019]. Their total stream tally exceeded 40 million as they racked up international praise from the likes of Alternative PressNew Noise MagazineRock SoundMetal Injection, and more. Barr returned to the fold in 2020.
