FUTURE PLACE RELEASE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “PARADISE”

The Berlin post-hardcore trio Future Palace are back with the video for the new single “Paradise.” Watch it here.

“Paradise” manifests a profound musical development and a massive sound. For the first time, shouts and down-tuned guitars expand the sonic and emotional repertoire of the band. Reminding listeners of metalcore heavy weights such as While She Sleeps, Future Palace’s sound is an exciting force with engaging vocals and a furious temper.

“For me, screaming vocals are one of the most emotional ways to express misery and anger,” say vocalist Maria. “When I started to write the lyrics for ‘Paradise,’ I was unsure whether I really want to realize them in this way or if I was even able to. But, eventually, the decision to do it helped to achieve a completely different emotional depth.”

Ultimately, Future Palace have evolved sonically and they produced a track that deals with the search for a proverbial paradise amid the simultaneous fight against depression. The contrast that defines the lyrics is expressed in the video, directed by Pavel Trebukhin, who worked with Imminence, Landmvrks, and Novelists FR.

The visual portrays the changing emotions represented in the song — the mournful atmosphere of a funeral service meets the literally staged paradise. The video demonstrates how confusing and multi-dimensional the tasks of life can be.

As was the case on Future Palace’s debut album Escape, “Paradise” was produced by Annisokay guitarist Christoph Wieczorek at his studio, Sawdust Recordings, in Halle, Germany.

Future Palace are one of the most inspiring and intriguing post-hardcore acts in Germany. They worked with Arising Empire on Escape and tallied several million streams for their songs across platforms. In early 2022, they will join Annisokay on a European tour.
