The Lathums Announces Debut North American Headline Tour

The Lathums has announced details of its debut headline tour of North America, due to take place this spring.

The band, which hails from Wigan in England’s northwest, will play its first-ever shows Stateside in March, including dates in New York and Los Angeles. It will also appear at Austin, TX’s annual new music festival SXSW, performing at the British Music Embassy showcase.

Tickets for the gigs are on sale now and can be purchased here.

To celebrate the announcement, The Lathums has also shared a new live version of its track “Fight On.” The video was recorded at the group’s gig at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse last year, for which tickets sold out in under one hour.

The rousing footage captures the energy of the British band’s incendiary live gigs, with the crowd passionately singing along to every word and note of the song’s guitar riff. That spirit will also be present at the group’s European and UK headline dates, which take place on either side of its North American trip.

The Lathums released its debut album How Beautiful Life Can Be in September, scoring its first UK No.1 album with the release. The record took the top spot from Drake’s Certified Lover Boy on October 1.

“We’re four friends from Wigan who just love making music and are at No.1 with our debut album – it’ll take a while for this one to sink in,” frontman Alex Moore told OfficialCharts.com at the time. “It proves what’s possible for young, British artists with a pure-at-heart ambition to reach people with songs like ours, making friends every step along the way, and finding that dreams can come true.”
