Sam Fender To Perform At 2022 BRIT Awards

Sam Fender will join the lineup for this year’s BRIT Awards, joining Dave, Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Holly Humberstone, Liam Gallagher and Little Simz at what is shaping up to be another stellar night of music and entertainment.

Sam Fender will perform at the BRITs for the first time next month, having won the Rising Star award in 2019 and been nominated for Best New Artist in 2020. He is nominated this year for Artist of the Year, Rock/Alternative Act and Mastercard Album of the Year, for his No. 1 album Seventeen Going Under. A UK arena tour will follow in March and April, ahead of a milestone outdoor headline show in London’s Finsbury Park in July.

Fender commented: “It’s beyond a dream to be performing at the BRIT Awards this year. Me and the band are so excited to get up on that stage, it’s going to be mega!!”

Adele, Ed Sheeran, Dave and Little Simz all up for four awards at this year’s BRIT Awards, which will be hosted by Mo Gilligan, with Clara Amfo and Maya Jama set to present The BRIT Awards Red Carpet broadcast on ITV2 from 7pm-8pm.

Voting for the four new genre awards for 2022 – Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act and Pop/R&B Act – are now live on TikTok who are powering a public vote for these categories in a first for both the app and The BRITs.
