Jessie Ware, Macy Gray & More Confirmed For London’s Mighty Hoopla 2022

Mighty Hoopla has announced a new wave of acts for this year’s festival, with the likes of Jessie Ware and Macy Gray on the bill.

The pop event will be held at Brockwell Park in south London on June 3 and 4, with Steps and Sugababes set to headline. Anastacia, Self Esteem, and Basement Jaxx (DJ set) are also on the bill.

Sugababes’ original line-up – Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy – will perform a headline set at Mighty Hoopla 2022 after releasing an expanded reissue of their 2000 debut album, One Touch, last year.

Today, the event organizers have confirmed a host of new additions, including Katy B, Macy Gray, Garage All Stars (featuring Romeo and Lisa Maffia), Booty Luv, 2 Unlimited and Oscar & The Wolf.

Last month, Jessie Ware rescheduled her UK tour and announced some new dates in Halifax and Edinburgh. The “What’s Your Pleasure?” singer pulled four shows last December including two nights at the O2 Brixton Academy in London after her crew members contracted COVID.

The singer  rescheduled her dates to May with the first of those cancelled at Bristol’s Marble Factory now going ahead on May 26, while two new shows in Halifax and Edinburgh have been added to the jaunt on June 19 and 22.

Tickets for Mighty Hoopla 2022 are now available, starting at £57.50. Visit the event’s official website for further information.
