Singer and songwriter Becky Hill has expanded her debut album Only Honest on the Weekend with a revamped deluxe edition. The updated record arrives digitally with a scathing new track titled “Personally,” in addition to the previously released bonus tracks “Here For You” with Wilkinson, “Hold On” with Netsky, “Space,” and an acoustic recording of “Remember.”
“Personally” kicks off the slate of new additions. Co-written with Sarah Aarons and producer STINT, the track packs a punch. “I’m not asking you to care about us / 6 years in the making but I think I’ve had enough / Some may call it selfish but I don’t wanna blame / I know that you don’t worry but your loss is my gain,” Hill sings ahead of a declaration. “I hope you take it personally.”
Only Honest on the Weekend arrived last August via Eko Records and Polydor as the long-awaited first studio album from the British songstress, who shared in a statement: “Having a full body of work to my name, after a near decade of graft, makes me feel more accomplished than I could’ve ever imagined. To me this album signifies establishing myself as an artist in my own right, beyond being a contestant on The Voice and beyond being a secondary, ‘featured’ artist on the songs of others.”
“I’m so thankful to everyone who has joined me on this journey and helped me ensure my dream has come to fruition – those I worked with in the studio on the album, my team, and my fans,” Hill added. “They all have my back, and I truly appreciate that. I feel ready to take on the world right now!”
Only Honest on the Weekend features additional collaborations with 220 Kid, Banx & Ranx, David Guetta, Ella Eyre, Shift K3Y, S1mba, Sigala, and Topic. The deluxe edition follows Becky Hill’s team up with Galantis on “Run.”
