K-pop group Stray Kids have announced the North American leg of their MANIAC world tour. Launching June 29 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, the seven show run will include stops in major cities across the US, including Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles.

The group will be touring in support of their mini-album, ODDINARY, which was released in March. Consisting of seven songs, the record was the band’s first to top the Billboard 200, and marked the highest first-week sales so far for any artist this year. Stray Kids also earned the most sales overall in a single week for an original fourth-generation K-pop group. In addition, all seven songs from ODDINARY entered Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart.

“Ever since pre-debut, we started at a beginners point,” band member Bang Chan told Buzzfeed about their chart-topping record this month, thanking their fanbase (known as “STAY”) in the process. “The journey that we’ve started has become cooler and more awesome. Even in this journey that we’ve started, we’re making this family bigger. And that’s why these results can truly happen. We could not have done this without STAY. With these results, it makes us want to try harder in the future and gives us more motivation. It feels great!”

Stray Kids’ MANIAC world tour will be the South Korean group’s second global run of dates, following 2019-2020’s District 9: Unlock, which was cancelled midway through, amid the pandemic. Tickets officially go on sale on April 22 at 3 p.m. local time. More information is available on Stray Kids’ official website.
