Sharon Osbourne Subject of Fox Nation Docuseries About ‘Cancel Culture’

Sharon Osbourne will be the subject of an upcoming four-part Fox Nation docuseries that focuses on “cancel culture.”

Per a press release from Fox NewsSharon Osbourne: To Hell & Back will air on the streaming service in September and “…will feature a candid and heartfelt look into Osbourne’s personal and professional life, highlighting how she found herself in the crosshairs of the cancel culture movement after exiting CBS’s ‘The Talk.’”

The press release also noted, “The documentary will also include insight and personal stories from her husband, music legend Ozzy Osbourne along with their children, Jack and Kelly Osbourne. Additionally, the docuseries will feature interviews with many of those who were part of and witnessed the controversy that ended her time at ‘The Talk’ including Daily Mail contributor and former co-host of ABC’s ‘The View’ Meghan McCain, Piers Morgan, host of TalkTV’s (News UK) ‘Uncensored’ which also streams on FOX Nation, among others.”

In a statement on the series, Sharon said, “FOX Nation subscribers will have an unbridled look into the toll the cancel culture phenomenon had on my life and career. I hope telling my story for the first time will help audiences understand the impact this movement can have on individuals and families.”

Sharon left her hosting duties on The Talk after 11 years on the CBS daytime talk show due to various accusations of her using racist and homophobic language on the set. These accusations surfaced following a heated exchange on the show’s March 10, 2021 episode between Sharon and fellow co-host Sheryl Underwood where Osbourne was defending Piers Morgan following his remarks about Meghan Markle. Morgan claimed that Markle was lying about being suicidal and dealing with racism as a member of the British Royal Family.

Following her exit, Sharon reportedly received a payday between $5-10 million from CBS.
