Foo Fighters Unveil Performers for U.K. Taylor Hawkins Tribute Show

Foo Fighters have unveiled the first wave of performers booked for the U.K. edition of their Taylor Hawkins tribute concert, and the show is definitely stacked.

In addition to the Foos themselves, already on board for the September 3 London gig at Wembley Stadium are Brian May, Roger Taylor, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Stewart Copeland, Liam Gallagher, Chrissie Hynde, Josh Homme, Wolfgang Van Halen, Chris Chaney, Omar Hakim, Mark Ronson, Supergrass, Rufus Taylor, Chevy Metal and a special appearance by Dave Chappelle.

And believe it or not, more acts will be announced at a later date! The Foos further note, “The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in the UK chosen by the Hawkins family. Beneficiaries and further details will be announced shortly.”

Tickets for the Wembley show go on sale Friday, June 17 at 9 AM local time.

As previously announced, there will be a Hawkins tribute concert in the United States on September 27 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. As of publishing, the lineup for that show has yet to be announced.
