Talinda Bennington, the widow of Chester Bennington, took a moment to mark the 5th anniversary of the death of the Linkin Park singer.

Talinda shared a clip via TikTok with the caption, “Just sitting here thinking that I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I last saw you and kissed your sweet face goodbye…5 years. I didn’t think I could breathe this long without you. R.I.P. my love. #grief #widow #suicideawarness”

Chester’s death by suicide led to Talinda to become more active in various mental health awareness efforts. She co-founded 320 Changes Direction, which provides support and services to friends and family members of those struggling with mental health and addiction issues. In April 2020, Talinda was honored with the Mental Health Ambassador Award from the Los Angeles-based nonprofit group Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services.
