Mark Hoppus Sounds Off on Rumors Tom DeLonge is Back in Blink-182

Mark Hoppus has chimed on the rumors that surfaced yesterday (August 1) about Tom DeLonge rejoining blink-182.

Hoppus shared via his Discord (h/t Blabbermouth), “There is no news to share. There is no announcement. Today is thirty years of blink-182! If and when blink has any announcement about anything, you will hear it from the official blink-182 outlets. Not teased on a radio station like ‘tune in for a major announcement…Tom tagged Mark in a photo from two decades ago.’”

Hoppus further noted the band “…will tour again and when it’s booked and confirmed we’ll announce it.”

DeLonge cause quite a stir when he shared an old photo of blink-182 via Instagram and name-checked the band in his Instagram bio. This led to a lot of fan-buzz the trio was reuniting, but alas, it looks like the loyal blink base jumped the gun on this one.
