Peter Gabriel Announced New LP, First Solo Tour in Nearly a Decade

Peter Gabriel dropped some major news on fans: He has a new album and tour on the way.

Per Gabriel’s official website, his new album is titled i/o, and its release date will be announced in the near future. His tour, which is aptly called “i/o The Tour,” has announced dates in the U.K. and Europe taking place in 2023. It marks his first tour outside North America since 2014. (A full list of tour dates is below.) Tickets for these dates go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 11 at LiveNation.com.

For those wondering if Gabriel will take the tour stateside, North American shows for the tour will be announced on a later date.

The iconic singer said in a statement, “It’s been a while and I am now surrounded by a whole lot of new songs and am excited to be taking them out on the road for a spin. Look forward to seeing you out there.”
