Lizzo Covers Rammstein’s ‘Du Hast’ Again, Includes Full Band & Dancers

Lizzo continued to show love to Rammstein while on tour in Germany by covering their hit “Du Hast” again. This time around, her band and dancers got into the act.

The Grammy Award-winning star initially sang a bit of the metal track during her February 20 gig in Hamberg. Her final show in Germany on her current tour was in Berlin, which is where the more robust cover took place. Lizzo was feeling the moment, pogoing, and joyfully twerking to the song’s chugging riff. Her dancers lightly headbanged while her backup singers harmonized on the chorus.

Lizzo shared the cover performance via Instagram. She captioned the clip, “ICH LIEBE DICH BERLIN.” (The English translation is “I love you, Berlin.”) Rammstein’s official Instagram would later shared the video via Stories. One fan wrote in the comments, “I’m a massive Rammstein fan, but it is so cool to see a completely different kind of artist appreciating this kind of music and putting their own spin on it. Only thing that would make it even better would be if Lizzo had played the keyboard solo on her flute.”

Honestly, we’d love to see it.

11 Great ‘This Is Spinal Tap’ Quotes That Aren’t ‘These go to 11!’

The iconic cult classic This is Spinal Tap was released in theaters on March 2, 1984. It is easily one of the most quotable, funniest films of all time to the point where even the biggest rock stars can own up to its painfully true moments.

Obviously, the most popular line from the film is, “These go to 11,” but there are so many other golden nuggets in this brilliant mockumentary. In honor of the anniversary of the film’s theatrical release, here are 11 other quotes from This is Spinal Tap that aren’t “These go to 11!”

(Note:  This list is numbered, not ranked. Ranking each line would be like asking us which Spinal Tap drummer was our favorite. It’s simply too hard of a question to answer.)
