R.I.P. Wayne Swinny of Saliva

Very sad to hear about the passing of lead guitarist and founding member of Memphis, Tennessee rockers Saliva, Wayne Swinny. News broke late Wednesday afternoon (3/22) via Saliva’s social media that Swinny was discovered Tuesday morning in medical distress and paramedics were called. He was transported to a hospital where he was diagnosed with a Spontaneous Hemorrhage is his brain. He was placed in the ICU for further observation, where he later passed. Wayne Swinny was 59.

With a ton of hits spanning 10+ albums, Saliva is and has always been a kick-a** band to see live! Below are a couple of pictures I took at a Saliva show at Bam Margera’s old club, The (Filthy) Note in West Chester back in 2011.

Sending love and positive vibes to the whole Saliva Family. -bp
