Metallica to Broadcast Two-Night Stand in Texas Live in Theaters

Metallica is heading out on tour this summer to support their new album 72 Seasons. If you couldn’t snag tickets, you’ll still be able to catch the band live at a theater near you.

The band has announced their August 18 and 20 shows in Arlington, Texas will broadcast live in select theaters worldwide. However, they also note, “You won’t have to get up in the middle of the night to see the shows from Arlington if you live on the other side of the planet… screenings in some countries/territories will be time-shifted to best suit local time zones.” Meanwhile, the broadcast itself will have a “state-of-the-art multi-camera setup” so fans in theaters will be in the thick of everything.

Fans can sign up for updates on Metallica: M72 World Tour Live from Arlington, TX – A Two Night Event at Metallica.film.

As previously reported, Metallica is performing two shows in each city on their tour. Each show will feature completely different setlists with no repeating songs. A complete list of tour dates is below.
