Staind has released “Lowest in Me,” their first new song since 2011. One could say “It’s Been Awhile.” (Thank you! I’ll be here all week, and make sure to tip your server.)

The track is embedded below and is available for streaming/download here. In a statement on the song, singer Aaron Lewis said, “I did want to modernize the sound and bring us up to date. You can certainly recognize the band, but at the same time, you can hear that we’ve been paying attention and understand what kind of sounds and approaches we can us that maybe weren’t around the last time we did this.”

“Lowest in Me” is the lead single off of their upcoming studio album Confessions of the Fallen, which is due out this Fall.

Staind is hitting the road this summer in the United States with Godsmack. A full list of tour dates is below.
