Bruce Springsteen is currently in Europe on tour with the E Street Band. During some downtime, The Boss found himself in a pub in Ireland chatting with the locals. What happened next is the stuff of dreams.

In the video below, Springsteen is seen sitting at a bar, and he’s singing “My Hometown” from his classic 1984 album Born in the U.S.A. The clip was shared by renowned Canadian journalist/host George Stroumboulopoulos. He captioned it, “Imagine going into the pub and Bruce Springsteen is singing one of his most beautiful songs.”

Springsteen kicks off a three-night stand at RDS Arena in Dublin tonight (May 5.) A full list of his upcoming tour dates can be found at BruceSpringsteen.net.

In other Boss News: Springsteen is finally getting his own “official day” in his home state of New Jersey. “Bruce Springsteen Day” will fall on September 23, which is the music icon’s birthday. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy confirmed this news during the American Music Honors event held in April.

As of publishing, there has yet to be an announcement about a proper event honoring Bruce Springsteen Day.
