Foo Fighters have shared a preview of a new track from their upcoming studio But Here We Are.
It’s unknown which song is being teased, but the full track will be released on May 17. The isolated vocals from the track can be heard below, and the lyrics are quite moving.
I woke up and walked a million miles today
I’ve been looking up and down for you
All this time it still feels just like yesterday
That I walked a million miles with you

But Here We Are comes out on June 2. Fans can pre-save the album on digital platforms here, while physical copies and album-exclusive merch can be pre-ordered at Shop.FooFighters.com.
In a statement about the LP, the Foos said, in part, “A brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year, ‘But Here We Are’ is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family.” The band also says the album runs ” … the emotional gamut from rage and sorrow to serenity and acceptance, and myriad points in between.”
Foo Fighters have a busy spring and summer full of both festival and solo shows. (A full list of their festival gigs is below.) The band’s first show of 2023 is set for May 24 in Gilford, NH. The Foos have yet to announce a new drummer following the untimely passing of Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.
