Weezer Shows Support for WGA Strike, Performs at L.A. Picket Line

Weezer took to the streets and joined a picket line in support of the ongoing Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) strike.

TMZ shared video of the band performing outside of Paramount Pictures studios for WGA picket line. In the video below, Weezer performed “Beverly Hills,” “Island in the Sun” and “Buddy Holly.”

Weezer isn’t the first band to be recorded performing on the WGA picket line. Imagine Dragons members Dan Reynolds and Wayne Sermon performed for the WGA picket line outside of Netflix’s headquarters in Hollywood.

One of the coolest displays of union solidarity came via Tom Morello. He shared a photo via Instagram of himself and his 99-year-old mother, Mary, picketing with WGA members. Morello captioned the photo, “Mary Morello: 99 and holding the line!”
