Ozzy Osbourne Mural in Birmingham is an Epic Fail

Ozzy Osbourne is featured in a mural inside a pub in The Prince of Darkness’ hometown of Birmingham, England. However, something went terribly awry in its creation.

Per Guitar World, the Birmingham location of the pub chain Wetherspoons is the home of this perplexing mural. The mural is honoring various important moments in the city’s history. Naturally, the formation of Black Sabbath is a notable moment. The mural reads, “1968: Ozzy Osbourne helps to form the band Black Sabbath, in Birmingham.”

The image accompanying the caption, though, is where things get confusing. An era-appropriate photo of Ozzy isn’t used. Instead, a photo of him from the early days of his solo tour is used. That photo? An altered version of a famous photo of Ozzy holding up Randy Rhoads.

But wait, it gets weirder! Rhoads is removed from the photo, so it looks like Ozzy is playing his flying-V guitar instead. And Ozzy doesn’t even play guitar!

Look, you just have to click here and see it to believe it.
