Judas Priest will be replacing Ozzy Osbourne at the upcoming Power Trip event taking place this Fall in California.

Billboard reports Priest’s involvement with Power Trip just one day after Osbourne suddenly dropped out of the event.

Yesterday (July 10), The Prince of Darkness shared a lengthy statement saying, in part, “Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed.”

While he didn’t name Priest as his replacement, Osbourne noted, “The band that will be replacing me on Power Trip will be announced shortly. They are personal friends of mine and I can promise that you will not be disappointed.”

Power Trip is slated for October 6-8 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. With Priest factored in, the lineup is as follows:

Friday, October 6
Guns N’ Roses
Iron Maiden

Saturday, October 7
AC/DC
Judas Priest

Sunday, October 8
Metallica
Tool
