Metallica Clarifies Story About Dog Left at One of Their Recent Shows

Metallica made some interesting headlines after a dog was reportedly abandoned at one of their recent shows at SoFi Stadium in California. However, this turned out to be false. The band took to social media to clarify these reports, and the update is simply outstanding.

Metallica’s statement read, “Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to @sofistadium and made her way to the gig all by herself. After a full night taking in the show with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her actual family the next day.”

The band said she had a great time and was so glad to hear her favorite songs at the show. They included, “‘Barx Æterna,’ ‘Master of Puppies,’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes.’” (Get it? Dog puns!)

Metallica took this moment as an opportunity to remind fans not to bring their pets to any of their shows.

More details about Storm were shared with The Mirror. Arizbeth Hurtado, 23, and her parents are the owners of the dog that snuck into the Metallica show. She told the outlet that her parents’ home is right across from SoFi Stadium. The house has a big yard, and her parents were helping park cars. After finishing with parking, they realized Storm got out of her gate enclosure. They were so scared about Storm’s whereabouts. When they took to Facebook to share she went missing, they saw photos of her safe at the Metallica show.

Hurtado said, “We were laughing, we were like ‘how the hell did she get in? She’s literally inside the concert’. In that picture she’s sitting on a seat like she had a ticket for her seat. She looks like she’s having the time of her life at the concert.”
