Aerosmith: Setlist from the Kickoff of Their Farewell Tour

Aerosmith kicked off their “Peace Out…Farewell Tour” on Saturday (August 2) in Philadelphia.

The band’s setlist contained 18 songs that highlighted their biggest hits, fan favorites and some deeper cuts. (The full setlist is below.)

As for the show itself, both USA Today and Ultimate Classic Rock said there were a couple of missed cues and some audio issues, which isn’t uncommon for a tour’s opening night. However, none of these things threw the band off and prevented them from putting on a fun show, which kicked off with a lengthy video chronicling the history of Aerosmith.

Also, as would be expected, Aerosmith continued to look the part of rock and roll icons. USA Today said Steven Tyler was “clad in a long silver coat and floppy black hat and looking like your coolest older aunt.” Meanwhile, Joe Perry looked like “a slouchy rock cowboy in his own black hat and billowing white shirt.”

Speaking of Perry, the guitarist played a white Fender Stratocaster at one point during the show. He shared with the crowd that the guitar belonged to Jeff Beck and was gifted to him by the late guitarist’s wife.

The “Peace Out…Farewell Tour” heads to Pittsburgh next on September 6. So far, the tour is set to conclude on January 26, 2024 in Montreal.
