I had the pleasure to speak with legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his son Jack Osbourne ahead of their appearance at the 65th Annual Famous Monsters Fest that is being held at Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia October 13th through the 15th.
Yes, The Prince of Darkness will be back in the Philadelphia area to kick-off the festivities at Famous Monsters Fest beginning this Friday… the 13th! Alongside the Ozzman, you can meet wife Sharon, son Jack and daughter Kelly, all appearing together for the first time at an event like this in over 20 years! The Osbourne’s are going to be taking pictures, signing autographs and will have a limited edition, Famous Monsters Fest tee shirt that will be on sale all weekend while supplies last.
For tickets, appearance times and a list of all the great celebrities, characters, and monsters set to appear at this weekend’s 65th anniversary of Famous Monsters Fest, head to FamousMonstersFest.com. Also set to appear this weekend, Scott Ian and Frank Bello of Anthrax, Kane Hodder as Jason, in FULL costume, Bonnie Aarons from The Nun, Lidya Jewett and Olivia O’Neil from Exorcist Forever and many more.
Speaking of the Exorcist, Ozzy recounts the story of when He and Black Sabbath saw the original movie together in theaters here in Philadelphia, and what happened afterwards.
Jack has made several trips to Philadelphia this year to film a few paranormal shows that are near and dear to him, of which he tells us more. Ozzy & Jack also talk about a previous trip to the Mutter Museum while here in Philly.
We touched a bit on their Travel Channel series “Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour”, which is an excellent TV show, if you’ve never had the chance to check it out, find the re-runs and watch! So good! Ozzy also tells us some things he would still like to knock off his bucket list.
Last but certainly not least, we touch on where Ozzy is with his health, and what the plans are for album #14.
See Ozzy, Sharon, Jack & Kelly THIS WEEKEND at Famous Monsters Fest at Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia which kicks off this Friday… the 13th! –Brent Porche
