Wolfgang Van Halen and Andraia Allsop were married on October 15 in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.

People was on hand to capture exclusive photos and to report on the big day. Notably, the day of their wedding was also the anniversary of their first date, which took place back in 2015.

Wolfgang was walked down the aisle by his mother, actress Valerie Bertinelli, but his late father, Eddie Van Halen, was present, too. The music playing while mother and son walked down the aisle was “316,” an instrumental track off of Van Halen’s 1991 album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. Wolfgang told People his father wrote the instrumental for him. With the track, Wolfgang noted, “It’ll be a nice way to include my dad.”

Of course, a rock star wedding would have a unique playlist. Andraia ensured Wolfgang had a fun moment during the reception, with the DJ including a track from one of his favorite bands, Meshuggah.

Sure, extreme Swedish metal isn’t typical wedding fare, but this isn’t a typical wedding. Wolfgang said of the inclusion of Meshuggah on the big day, “Anyone over 40 will be terrified. But you know what? It’s my wedding and I’ll do whatever I want.”

We send our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds!
