Dirty Honey: Band’s Bus Breaks Down Near Philly

Fresh off of another stellar MMRBQ performance, Dirty Honey have dropped their new album called Can’t Find The Brakes – but it looks like the brakes found them.

The band posted to Instagram this morning (11/5) saying: “Oh the highs and lows of being in a touring band. Broken down outside of Philly en route to Asbury Park and we need to do a full bus switch first thing this morning. Nothing but fun ;)”

They performed in Harrisburg, PA last night, so this unexpected mid-morning stop was likely right in the middle of rockstar rest time. Their post includes a photo of the boys looking like they could use more sleep, but they’re safe and sound, as you can see below.

Guitarist John Notto also posted: “We broke down b***h! Last pic with the downed bus as we make the mid-highway switch. Grumpy and caffeine-deficient but we’re fine dude.”

We’re not sure of the exact location of the bus breakdown, though MMR listener Darlene pointed out in the Instagram comments that it appeared to be somewhere on the Blue Route.

Dirty Honey managed to get their trailer with all their gear towed to their next destination in time for tonight’s show at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ. The tour continues across the U.S. through mid-December, and Can’t Find The Brakes is available now.
