Taylor Swift, Jon Batiste, Ice Spice, And More Earn Multiple 2024 Grammy Nominations

Taylor Swift, Jon Batiste, Ice Spice, Billie Eilish, boygenius, Lana Del Rey, Gracie Abrams, Noah Kahan, and more earned Grammy Nominations. The news was revealed during the Recording Academy’s official announcement ceremony.

Taylor continues her year of brilliance with a number of nods. Midnights is up for Album of the Year, while “Anti-Hero” is nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Taylor Swift and Ice Spice’s “Karma” is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Ice Spice is nominated in the Best Song Written for for Visual Media category for her song with Nicki Minaj from the Barbie Soundtrack, titled “Barbie World.” Ice is also nominated for Best New Artist.

Jon Batiste also received a number of nominations. His World Music Radio LP received an Album of the Year nomination. “Worship” will be considered for Record of the Year, “Butterfly” is up for Song of the Year, and “Candy Necklace,” featured on Lana Del Rey’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Speaking of Lana, other nominations for the star include Did You Know , which is up for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album, and “A&W” up for Song of the Year and Best Alternative Music Performance.

Eilish has received tons of buzz for her Barbie Soundtrack hit “What Was I Made For?” That song is nominated for Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Record of the Year, and Best Song Written for for Visual Media.

boygenius’ celebrated album the record received deserved attention as well. The group—Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus—earned nods for Album of the Year, Record of the Year (for “Not Strong Enough”), Best Alternative Music Album, and Best Alternative Music Performance.
