Post Malone Hints At Forthcoming Country Album After Nashville Visit

Post Malone has confirmed that a new country album is in the works. During a recent Twitch livestream on his channel, the rapper was asked about his interest in the genre.

“Country record is coming,” he revealed while playing Apex Legends. “I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville, and it’s so f_____g sick, but it’s not out.” He also shared that he is working on two albums right now, but didn’t reveal many details. He did, however, add, “We made such sick music down in Nashville…It was so much, so much fun.”

Last month, Posty appeared on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, sitting down to talk to Howard Stern and co-host Robin Quivers about Austin, playing beer pong with Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, meeting Taylor Swift, and more.

In other Post Malone news, it was recently revealed that he will be performing at the “Christmas at Graceland” NBC Holiday Special alongside John Legend, Lana Del Rey, and more. Other artists scheduled for the event will include Alanis Morissette, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, and The War and Treaty. The vent will take place at the music legend’s iconic home in Memphis, Tennessee on November 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and Peacock.

Each artist will each perform a song that pays tribute to the “King of Rock ‘N’ Roll” and ushers in the holiday spirit, as they’ll also share how they found inspiration in Presley’s love of music and Christmastime.

The upcoming TV event marks the first time the famous estate has opened its doors to host a televised concert. It’ll offer an inside look at Graceland and also feature never before broadcast footage of the late legend.

The performers will also be joined by Emmy-nominated actress Riley Keough, daughter of the star and Priscilla Presley’s only child Lisa Marie Presley.

Listen to the best of Post Malone.
