Pink Friday 2, Nicki Minaj’s fifth full-length album and one of the most-anticipated rap sequels of all-time, has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With this stellar showing, she makes history and notches the most No.1’s on the Billboard 200 by a female rapper ever.

Speaking to her enduring impact as one of the world’s most impactful superstars, Minaj stands out as the first female rap artist to land a No.1 album in two different decades.

Pink Friday 2 tallied total consumption of 228K-plus units and netted the artist’s biggest streaming week ever with 170 million album streams. Among other accolades, the album has earned the biggest female rap album and R&B/Hip-Hop Album Sales & Streaming Week of 2023 and the biggest sales week for a female rap album on vinyl in the Soundscan era, according to reports in Billboard.

Additionally, Pink Friday 2 vaulted to No. 1 on the Top Album Sales Chart, the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, and Rap Albums Chart. It ranks in the Top 3 Hip-Hop Debuts of 2023 and Top 10 Overall Debuts of 2023.” Plus, it’s her 7th Top 10 on the Billboard 200.

Taking over popular culture in her own inimitable way, Nicki Minaj graced the December cover of Vogue and appeared on BRAVO’s Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen. During the latter, she personally donated toys and $50K to Toys For Tots. Next up, she guests on ABC’s Live with Kelly and Mark! on December 19 and CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on December 20.
