The legendary Abbey Road Studios has announced a new experience for visitors: Stories in Sound. Launching in August 2024, Stories in Sound is being billed as an immersive experience combining “rich storytelling with live music. For the first time, music fans can hear the incredible story of Abbey Road and its role in music history, alongside live performances of the music created within our walls.” The experience will be held on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

Stories In Sound will take place in Studio Two, home to countless landmark recordings by The BeatlesPink Floyd, Shirley Bassey, The Hollies, Elton JohnElla FitzgeraldKate BushMassive Attack, Oasis, Radiohead, Muse, Adele, Celeste, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran and many more. Ticket buyers will have the rare chance to take photos inside Studio Two during their visit.

During their research, Kevin and Brian dug deep into the EMI Archives, uncovering fascinating and often hidden stories of our history which will be brought to life through their talks.”

The event will run across August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at various times. In-person tickets are available now.

For those unable to attend, Abbey Road Studios will be hosting an online event on Saturday, August 10th, promising behind-the-scenes content unavailable at the live event.
