Metallica and the American Red Cross have announced that their year-long partnership has successfully collected approximately 40,000 blood donations worldwide. The collaboration, which launched in April 2025 through the band's All Within My Hands foundation, saw over 25,000 donations in the U.S. alone before expanding internationally during the global legs of the M72 World Tour.

The initiative has been particularly successful in reaching a younger demographic; the Red Cross reported that 16% of participants were first-time donors, with nearly half of those individuals falling into the 16–24 age bracket. To encourage participation, donors who registered between July 2025 and February 2026 received a limited-edition T-shirt and were entered for a chance to win an autographed ESP Snakebyte guitar.

Parkway Drive has released an official statement addressing recent legal developments involving Jed Gordon, a longtime member of the band's touring camp. The statement follows reports that Gordon entered a guilty plea to charges of s*xual intercourse with a person 14 or over and under 16 years of age. Gordon, who has worked in various roles for the band including merchandise management, is scheduled to receive his sentencing on May 19th.

While some media reports have identified Gordon as the brother of Parkway Drive drummer Ben Gordon, the exact nature of their relationship has not been officially confirmed.

The band's response comes after details of the case and the subsequent legal proceedings began circulating online earlier this week.

Full Statement:

“We’ve recently learned that someone we’ve been associated with has pleaded guilty to an underage sex offence in 2002.

This is appalling and we condemn it. We’re gutted and we support the victim.

This happened before we were a band, however we bear moral responsibility for contracting him from 2003, on and off over the years.

While he hasn’t toured with us since 2017, more recently he’s been part of our Australian online merch team. When the band heard about this, we terminated his contract immediately.

He’s no longer involved with Parkway Drive in any capacity.
This is heartbreaking on a very human scale.

This is still ongoing in the courts so we’re closing comments.”

Today, March 20, 2026, would have been the 50th birthday of the legendary Chester Bennington. We celebrate the life of the Linkin Park frontman, whose powerful vocals and raw emotional honesty defined a generation. From the explosive debut of Hybrid Theory to the band’s continued evolution, Bennington’s influence remains a cornerstone of modern rock.

Today is a day of reflection, music, and gratitude for the man who taught millions that they were not alone in their struggles.

Seether has officially announced a new digital-only EP titled Beneath The Surface, scheduled for release on April 17, 2026, via Concord Records. The EP serves as a companion piece to their 2024 album The Surface Seems So Far and features four tracks, including two previously unreleased studio cuts: “Into The Ground” and “Proud Daddy.” Both songs were recorded during the original album sessions but were held back for this special release.

In addition to the new studio material, the EP includes live recordings of “Lost All Control” and “Judas Mind,” captured during a SiriusXM Octane session. Bassist Dale Stewart shared his excitement for the release, noting that “Into The Ground” is a personal favorite. Fans can look forward to seeing Seether live this fall as they support Staind on the “Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour,” alongside Hoobastank and Hinder, starting in September.

The Warning has officially released a new performance video for their latest single, “Kerosene.” The release comes on the heels of the song’s live debut earlier this month during the band’s acclaimed sets at Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Argentina. The video captures the fierce, high-octane energy of the Villarreal sisters—Dany, Pau, and Ale—showcasing the musicianship that has made them one of the most talked-about acts in the 2026 rock circuit.

“Kerosene” originally dropped on March 6, 2026, accompanied by a cinematic music video featuring desert car stunts and flamethrowers. This new performance-focused visual highlights the track’s driving riffs and rebellious lyrics, serving as a teaser for fans catching the band on the road. The trio is currently gearing up to join YUNGBLUD for the IDOLS World Tour, which will hit major arenas across the UK and the US starting next month.

Nickelback has officially released a brand new track titled "Bones for the Crows," marking the band's first original material in nearly four years. The single follows a string of collaborative projects for the group, including their recent appearance on the Don Broco track "Nightmare Tripping." That song serves as the title track for Don Broco’s latest studio album, which arrived on March 16, 2026, via Fearless Records.

Beyond their work with Don Broco, rumors are swirling regarding a high-profile "supergroup" collaboration involving frontman Chad Kroeger. Recently, Sammy Hagar shared footage of himself with Kroeger and Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee, teasing a spontaneous new project. Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante added fuel to the fire by confirming he was called in to track drums for the session, while Lee has also been spotted in rehearsal spaces for the mystery project.

Ice Nine Kills has officially re-recorded the track “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)” for the upcoming horror sequel Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The song was originally performed by Grave Diggler, an ‘80s sleaze-rock outfit that once rivaled the likes of Mötley Crüe and Poison before fading into obscurity in the early ‘90s.

The track’s inclusion comes after a complex legal battle between Spencer Charnas and his father over the song’s rights. Charnas revealed that while the process was emotionally charged, working on the film and the song ultimately helped the two reconcile after a long period of estrangement. Alongside the new version, the “long-banned” 1987 music video for the original track has finally been released to the public.

AC/DC guitarist Stevie Young was admitted to a hospital in Buenos Aires following a recent concert in South America. According to a spokesperson, Young was hospitalized “out of an abundance of caution” to undergo a full battery of tests. Stevie joined the band in 2014, taking over for his uncle and co-founder Malcolm Young.

Despite the medical evaluation, the band’s camp reports that Stevie is in “good spirits” and is currently expected to return to the stage this coming Monday. Fans continue to follow updates as the rock legends proceed with their international tour schedule.

Alissa White-Gluz has officially released “Checkmate,” the first single from her new band Blue Medusa. The project features the Arch Enemy vocalist alongside guitarists Alyssa Day and Dani Sophia. Alissa described the debut as an “extremely cathartic” song that emerged from a creative flow state where the lyrics and melodies wrote themselves.

While the singer noted that “Checkmate” is “probably the lightest” of what the trio has recorded in terms of sound, she emphasized that the lyrics are the heaviest she has ever written. The song is intended to give fans a first taste of the “dark, heavy, brutal and haunting” music the band has in development.
