Nickelback has officially released a brand new track titled "Bones for the Crows," marking the band's first original material in nearly four years. The single follows a string of collaborative projects for the group, including their recent appearance on the Don Broco track "Nightmare Tripping." That song serves as the title track for Don Broco’s latest studio album, which arrived on March 16, 2026, via Fearless Records.

Beyond their work with Don Broco, rumors are swirling regarding a high-profile "supergroup" collaboration involving frontman Chad Kroeger. Recently, Sammy Hagar shared footage of himself with Kroeger and Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee, teasing a spontaneous new project. Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante added fuel to the fire by confirming he was called in to track drums for the session, while Lee has also been spotted in rehearsal spaces for the mystery project.

Ice Nine Kills has officially re-recorded the track “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)” for the upcoming horror sequel Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The song was originally performed by Grave Diggler, an ‘80s sleaze-rock outfit that once rivaled the likes of Mötley Crüe and Poison before fading into obscurity in the early ‘90s.

The track’s inclusion comes after a complex legal battle between Spencer Charnas and his father over the song’s rights. Charnas revealed that while the process was emotionally charged, working on the film and the song ultimately helped the two reconcile after a long period of estrangement. Alongside the new version, the “long-banned” 1987 music video for the original track has finally been released to the public.

Despite the medical evaluation, the band’s camp reports that Stevie is in “good spirits” and is currently expected to return to the stage this coming Monday. Fans continue to follow updates as the rock legends proceed with their international tour schedule.

Alissa White-Gluz has officially released “Checkmate,” the first single from her new band Blue Medusa. The project features the Arch Enemy vocalist alongside guitarists Alyssa Day and Dani Sophia. Alissa described the debut as an “extremely cathartic” song that emerged from a creative flow state where the lyrics and melodies wrote themselves.

While the singer noted that “Checkmate” is “probably the lightest” of what the trio has recorded in terms of sound, she emphasized that the lyrics are the heaviest she has ever written. The song is intended to give fans a first taste of the “dark, heavy, brutal and haunting” music the band has in development.

Rapper Afroman has emerged victorious in a high-profile legal battle after a jury ruled in his favor on all 13 counts of a lawsuit filed by several Ohio law enforcement officers. The deputies had sought $3.9 million in damages, alleging defamation, invasion of privacy, and emotional distress after Afroman used security camera footage from a 2022 raid on his home in his music videos, social media posts, and merchandise.

The original raid, which yielded no drugs, no kidnapping victims, and resulted in no charges, became the subject of Afroman’s viral "diss tracks" that mocked the officers' conduct—including a now-famous clip of a deputy eyeing a lemon pound cake in his refrigerator. Following the jury's verdict of zero damages, Afroman walked out of the courthouse in an American flag suit, stating, "I didn’t win. America won."
