Turnstile proved exactly why they have ascended to the top of the rock world with an emotional and cathartic performance at Coachella 2026 on Friday night. Fresh off their Best Rock Album Grammy win for NEVER ENOUGH, the band delivered a high-energy set that split the difference between their latest hits and favorites from GLOW ON. Fans were treated to a special guest appearance by Blood Orange, who joined the band on cello for a rendition of "SEEIN' STARS."

The performance carried significant weight, as it opened with a video featuring frontman Brendan Yates' father. This intro followed recent news regarding legal issues involving a former member. Despite the heavy background, the band maintained their signature contagious energy, with tracks like "HOLIDAY," "BLACKOUT," and "BIRDS" sparking massive engagement from the crowd. Turnstile’s summer festival run will continue with upcoming appearances at Osheaga, Outside Lands, and Shaky Knees.

A Day To Remember has partnered with Sixthman to announce their first-ever curated cruise, the "Big Ole Boat Show," scheduled to run from April 28 to May 2, 2027. The voyage will depart from Miami, Florida, heading to Nassau in the Bahamas. The band is slated to perform two unique sets on the ship's pool deck. Joining them for the high-seas event are a heavy-hitting roster including Knocked Loose, The Devil Wears Prada, Dying Wish, Comeback Kid, Spite, and The Callous Daoboys, with more acts to be revealed.

The cruise is named after the band's latest physical-only release, A Day to Remember's Big Ole Album, Vol. 1, which achieved top 10 status on several Billboard charts last year. Presale tickets are currently available through the official cruise website until April 19, with general sales opening on May 1. Sixthman, the promoter behind the event, is well-known for other successful music cruises like Lamb of God’s "Headbanger’s Boat" and Creed’s "Summer of '99."

Dogstar has released their latest single, "Joy," a track described by the band as a "moody, creepy piece" that belies its uplifting title. The song is the second preview from their upcoming fourth studio album, All In Now, which is scheduled for release on May 29, 2026, via their own Dillon Street Records. The track features an ethereal, dreamy soundscape achieved with a vintage Gibson ES335 Hollow Body guitar, which vocalist/guitarist Bret Domrose added to the band's arsenal during the recording sessions.

The album, produced by Nick Launay (IDLES, Nick Cave), follows the rock trio's successful 2023 comeback effort. Bassist Keanu Reeves, drummer Robert Mailhouse, and Domrose have also mapped out a massive 2026 North American tour to support the new record. The trek will kick off with two California dates in late May before moving across Europe and returning to North American theaters and clubs through the summer, including stops in Austin, Nashville, Philadelphia, and New York City.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have released official performance footage from the opening night of their 2026 "Land of Hope and Dreams Tour" in Minneapolis. Godsmack has officially announced its new touring lineup following the retirement of longtime members Tony Rombola and Shannon Larkin. In a new interview with TalkShopLive, frontman Sully Erna revealed that guitarist Sam Koltun (formerly of Dorothy) and drummer Wade Murff have joined the band for their upcoming "The Rise of Rock" 2026 tour. Erna praised Koltun's attention to detail and ability to honor Rombola's original parts, while describing Murff as a "strong, hard-hitting" player who brings a new "breath of life" to the group.

The transition comes as the band prepares to release Live At Mohegan Sun on May 1, a double live album and Blu-ray that documents the final performance of the classic Godsmack lineup. Erna admitted that while the departure of his "brothers" was emotionally difficult, the split was entirely amicable as Rombola and Larkin sought to enjoy life off the road. The new-look Godsmack, featuring Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, Koltun, and Murff, will kick off their North American tour with Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy on May 10 in Bristow, Virginia.

The Fillmore Philadelphia was transformed into a heavy metal sanctuary on April 6, 2026, as Zakk Wylde brought the "Engines of Demolition" tour to a capacity crowd. Sevendust has officially unveiled plans for a major headlining tour across Europe and the UK this fall. The trek is in support of their forthcoming studio album, ONE, which is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026. The tour will kick off in Hamburg, Germany, on November 25 and wind through several major European cities before heading to the UK and Ireland in December, concluding at London’s Electric Ballroom on December 15.

The announcement comes on the heels of the band’s recent song releases, including "Is This The Real You" and the claymation video for "Threshold." Tickets for the fall run are currently available via presale, with a general on-sale beginning this Monday, April 13, at 12:00 p.m. local time.

Tim Montana has put his unique tour bus up for auction, a 1998 Prevost Marathon XL originally commissioned by Charlie Sheen. According to Sheen, he designed the bus during a "12-day bender" to resemble a swanky Los Angeles bar called Bar One. After acquiring the vehicle, Montana renovated the interior to better suit a touring band, replacing the bar-style layout with six bunks, while retaining features like plush red couches, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen.

The bus, which Sheen used during his time on Two and a Half Men, is now live for bidding starting at $5,000. This sale coincides with a busy period for Montana, who just released the single "Break Me Down" and is preparing for the July 17 release of his new album, Entire State of Tim Montana. Montana is also set to hit the road later this month, joining Alter Bridge for a tour beginning April 25.

Billy Morrison, the guitarist for Billy Idol, has released the music video for his new single "Becoming." This track features Godsmack's Sully Erna and Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme. Yes has announced their 24th studio album, titled Aurora, set for release on June 12, 2026, via InsideOut Music/Sony Music. The legendary progressive rock band, currently led by guitarist Steve Howe, shared the news today alongside the debut of the album's title track and an accompanying animated music video.
