Fortnite Adds Collaborations With Eminem, Ice Spice, More

Some of the world’s most popular rappers are coming to Fortnite Battle Royale. The game’s newly launched Chapter 2 Remix includes new collaborations with Eminem, Ice Spice, Juice WRLD, and Snoop Dogg spanning the full month of November, which will bring the real world and the world of Fortnite together in unprecedented ways. Players can engage with each artist through themed gameplay locations launching weekly and can acquire outfits repping each music legend through the Fortnite Shop.

Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice kicked off the proceedings Nov. 1 with a surprise IRL performance in New York’s Times Square, viewable on Risky Reels. Snoop then entered into the game, transforming The Agency compound into his own headquarters, The Doggpound. Those who defeat Snoop will receive his Drum Gun Mythic and count him as an ally.

“Being part of Fortnite is all about creating, playing, and sharing my music and culture with the next generation,” Snoop says. “My son Cordell’s a big Fortnite player with me, so when we had the opportunity we jumped on it as a new way to connect with my sound and style. Anyone can be Snoop in Fortnite.” Snoop is also the Icon for Season 6 of the rhythm-based, music-oriented game Fortnite Festival.

Starting Nov. 7, the second week of Chapter 2 Remix festivities involves Eminem, who’s bringing his real-life Detroit restaurant Mom’s Spaghetti to the Grotto cave. Slim Shady will share his Mythic RG Minigun and become an ally to those who defeat him. This marks Eminem’s second appearance in Fortnite after his debut in the game last December. “Guess who’s back, ready for combat, man!” Eminem says. “I’m serving all new gear along with a side of spaghetti…come and get it! Feels good to return to Fortnite for more mayhem.”

Ice Spice invades the world of Fortnite for the third week, starting Nov. 14. She’ll take up residence at Shark Island, transforming it into Ice Isle, a neon-tinted, Y2K-styled abandoned shopping mall. By beating her, you’ll add her to your team and gain access to her Ice Spice’s Grappler and Ice Spice’s Rifle Mythics. “Getting the chance to come to the game and remix the Chapter 2 map is unreal,” Ice Spice says. “It’s exciting to be a part of something so iconic, and I can’t wait for players to experience this new vibe. Fortnite is all about creativity and connection, and I’m hyped to bring my own spin to it!”

The fourth week, starting Nov. 21, honors the late, great Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins, culminating in a tribute in Remix: The Finale, a live event on Nov. 30 beginning at 2 p.m. ET. All players who log in between 1 a.m. on Nov. 30 and 1 a.m. on Dec. 1 will receive a cel-shaded slayer Juice WRLD outfit. More details about Remix: The Finale are coming soon.

“Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others,” Juice’s mother Carmella Wallace says. “From a young age, video games were a part of how he bonded with friends and family, and being in Fortnite is an incredible tribute to that connection. I know he would be overjoyed to see how his love for games continues to bring people together across different spaces, just like his music does.”
