SONGS OF A LIVE WORLD: TROXY LONDON MMXXlV features the band’s Troxy performances of all eight songs from SONGS OF A LOST WORLD.
SONGS OF A LIVE WORLD will be available in a range of formats, including standalone 1CD and 1LP sets and packaged with SONGS OF A LOST WORLD in 2CD, 2MC, and 2LP sets. New limited edition versions of SONGS OF A LOST WORLD are also on the way, including one on blood red vinyl and another 2LP set pairing the original album with the instrumental version, available on vinyl for the first time.
SONGS OF A LOST WORLD was widely hailed as a triumphant return from an iconic band. In a five-star review, The Guardian raved, “It’s powerful, possessed of a dark beauty and frequently moving in a manner that feels different to anything they’ve released before,” while Variety called it “Smith’s most fully realized and most mature artistic statement.” Beyond critical acclaim, the album was a massive commercial success, becoming the Cure’s first UK No. 1 album in 32 years and debuting in the US top 10.
