A woman in her 40s has been charged with harassment in Sweden following an invasive stalking campaign targeting Ghost leader Tobias Forge. According to reports from the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, the woman allegedly bombarded Forge with text and WhatsApp messages, registered letters, and multiple Swish payment requests for 5,000 kronor (approximately $530) between July and October of last year. The situation escalated when she sent a registered letter containing a mobile phone, which Forge ultimately turned over to police after keeping it on his balcony to avoid bringing it into his home.

In his testimony, Forge described the ordeal as "intrusive" and "threatening," noting that while he has dealt with roughly a dozen stalkers throughout his career, this incident crossed a major personal boundary. While the woman claimed to the police that she and Forge have been in daily contact for 16 years and were engaged as of last September, Forge denied ever knowing her. Turnstile has issued a harrowing official statement following the arrest of founding guitarist Brady Ebert, who is accused of attempting to murder the father of the band's frontman, Brendan Yates.
