Jack White has released a new two-song single today, April 3, featuring the tracks “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico.” The release follows months of speculation among fans after White debuted the material during his recent "No Name" pop-up tour dates. While “Derecho Demonico” was previously performed under the working title “Started What You Cannot Finish,” White confirmed the true title during a performance in Kansas City, describing the track as being born from the “back of a twisted storm.

”The new tracks showcase White’s signature raw, blues-infused rock sound, with “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” featuring lyrical themes of rebirth and starting over. The surprise drop arrives just ahead of White’s scheduled appearance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live tomorrow, where he is expected to perform the new material. These songs mark the first official studio output from White since his 2024 surprise album, No Name, further fueling rumors that a more extensive project or a formal tour announcement may be imminent.

The track is the newest offering from the band’s highly anticipated upcoming album, EI8HT, which serves as the follow-up to 2022’s Planet Zero. Frontman Brent Smith recently teased the song on Facebook, featuring the powerful lyrical hook, “Where is the outlaw in you?”

The release of "Outlaw" adds to an already impressive tracklist for the new record, joining previously released singles such as "Dance, Kid, Dance," "Three Six Five," "Searchlight," "Killing Fields," and "Safe and Sound." Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the new material live, as Shinedown is set to launch a massive U.S. tour this May, just weeks before the full album officially arrives on May 29.

Bush has brought a wave of 90s nostalgia and modern vulnerability to the NPR offices with their newly released Tiny Desk Concert. Frontman Gavin Rossdale, accompanied by a stripped-back ensemble, delivered a four-song set that leaned heavily into atmospheric ambiance rather than the high-octane distortion typically associated with the British grunge icons. The performance notably featured a slower, more pensive arrangement of their 1994 hit "Machinehead," with Rossdale’s weathered vocals adding a new layer of weight to the classic lyrics.

A woman in her 40s has been charged with harassment in Sweden following an invasive stalking campaign targeting Ghost leader Tobias Forge. According to reports from the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, the woman allegedly bombarded Forge with text and WhatsApp messages, registered letters, and multiple Swish payment requests for 5,000 kronor (approximately $530) between July and October of last year. The situation escalated when she sent a registered letter containing a mobile phone, which Forge ultimately turned over to police after keeping it on his balcony to avoid bringing it into his home.

In his testimony, Forge described the ordeal as "intrusive" and "threatening," noting that while he has dealt with roughly a dozen stalkers throughout his career, this incident crossed a major personal boundary. While the woman claimed to the police that she and Forge have been in daily contact for 16 years and were engaged as of last September, Forge denied ever knowing her. The singer stated he is not seeking financial compensation and simply wants to be left alone, noting, "I just want her to leave me alone and not hurt anyone else." The woman is also reportedly facing additional charges involving other individuals.

Donald Trump has intensified his long-running feud with Bruce Springsteen, using a series of disparaging labels to describe the rock icon. In a recent public address, the President referred to Springsteen as a “dried-up prune” and a “total loser,” adding that he finds the singer to be "bad and very boring." The comments appear to be a direct reaction to Springsteen's opening night performance for his "Land of Hope and Dreams" tour in Minneapolis, where the musician delivered a fierce critique of the current administration's policies and leadership.

During the tour kickoff at the Target Center, Springsteen addressed the crowd with several impassioned speeches, accusing the White House of being "corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous." He specifically highlighted his opposition to recent federal immigration enforcement actions and what he described as an "unconstitutional and illegal war." In response, the President dismissed Springsteen's remarks, suggesting that the singer "can't handle the truth" regarding the country's current direction. The exchange marks one of the most aggressive escalations in the rivalry between the two figures, which has spanned nearly a decade of political and cultural tension.

Trump's Full Post:

"Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS. The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election, including the popular vote, all Seven Swing States, and 86% of the Counties across America. Under Sleepy Joe and the Dems, our Country was DEAD, and now we have the “hottest” Country, by far, anywhere in the World. MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. AMERICA IS BACK!!! President DJT"

Turnstile has issued a harrowing official statement following the arrest of founding guitarist Brady Ebert, who is accused of attempting to murder the father of the band's frontman, Brendan Yates. In a statement provided to Rolling Stone, the band expressed their shock and devastation, stating, “We have no language left for Brady,” after he allegedly used his vehicle to intentionally strike 79-year-old William Yates in a violent assault.

The band confirmed that William Yates suffered "severe physical trauma" but has successfully undergone surgery and is currently in recovery. According to police reports, the incident occurred on March 29 in Silver Spring, Maryland, when the elder Yates stepped outside to protect his family after hearing Ebert honking and shouting obscenities. Ebert then allegedly drove his car directly at Yates, striking him and causing significant injuries to his legs. The band revealed that this attack follows a "consistent pattern of harmful behavior" and a long string of threats from Ebert that had escalated since his 2022 departure from the group.

Ebert, 33, is facing felony charges of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault. He is currently being held without bond in Montgomery County following a warrant for his arrest. Turnstile, who recently made history with their first Grammy wins, has asked for privacy as they support the Yates family. While the band is still scheduled for a massive 2026 North American tour with Death Cab for Cutie, their focus remains on the recovery of William Yates and the ongoing legal proceedings.

Sevendust has released the official music video for their latest single, "Threshold," the second track revealed from their upcoming 15th studio album, One. The animated video, created by Ollie Jones, continues the quirky storyline from the band’s earlier "Fence" video, depicting a greedy agent reanimating the band members to force them back on the road. Musically, the track features the band's signature mix of heavy grooves and melodic intensity, with frontman Lajon Witherspoon delivering emotionally charged lyrics about being pushed to the breaking point.

Produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette, the album One is set to arrive on May 1. The recording process for the new record took place at the farmhouse belonging to Witherspoon and his wife, Ashley, before moving to Baskette’s Studio Barbarosa in Florida. To support the release, Sevendust will launch a U.S. headlining tour on April 16, featuring support from Atreyu, Fire From The Gods, and American Adrenaline. The tour includes major festival appearances at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple, alongside two special dates opening for Alter Bridge in Atlanta and Nashville.
