SEVENTEEN have announced special edition versions of the band’s monumental track “Shohikigen.” The K-pop icons will be sharing a standard edition CD, a “Limited Edition A” CD, and a “Limited Edition B” CD.

The “Limited Edition A” release includes the Japanese original song and Japanese versions of “Circles” and “MAESTRO.” The “Limited Edition A” CD includes photobook A (36 pages), selfie photo card A (1 of 13 types/random), and a cover art photo card A (1 of 13 types/random).

The “Limited Edition B” release features the “B” variation of the photobook and selfie card, in addition to the cover art photo card. The standard edition includes photobook D (24 pages) and a selfie photo card D (1 of 13 types/random).

Last year, SEVENTEEN celebrated their five year anniversary debut in Japan with the physical release of Always Yours, a “Best Of” compilation of their Japanese-language tracks.

The album contains 27 songs on two discs, including two new Japanese original songs and Japanese versions of the band’s Korean hits.

Always Yours is available in four editions, three of which are limited edition versions including three distinct photo books. On top of those, there is also a standard edition available.

All versions include a randomly selected photo card, with different variations offered in each edition. For U.S. fans, a Target exclusive version is also be available, featuring a jewel case, photo book, and a Target exclusive photo card.

The album’s single, the sparkly “Sara Sara,” was released in August of 2023 ahead of the full digital release. SEVENTEEN originally made their Japanese debut in 2018 with the EP We Make You, featuring the title track “Call Call Call!” alongside Japanese versions of tracks including “Lean On Me” and “Highlight,” both of which now appear on Always Yours. At that point in the band’s history, SEVENTEEN had shared a further two EPs and two singles in the language.
