Janet Jackson’s upcoming “Janet Jackson: Las Vegas” concert residency is set to open at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas on December 30, 2024.

The pop star first announced her return to Las Vegas this August. She has ten performances lined up at Resorts World Theatre from December 30, 2024, through February 15, 2025. These performances mark Jackson’s first public shows in Las Vegas since her previous residency, “Metamorphosis,” at the Park Theater in 2019. That acclaimed series of shows was a journey through “the immensely private life” of Janet Jackson, as she shared her “transformation from a young girl with self-esteem issues to global icon.”
The “Metamorphosis” shows featured all of Jackson’s hits, deep cuts, “explosive dance numbers,” “electrifying visuals” and more — as well as a special 30-year anniversary celebration of her global smash album Rhythm Nation 1814.
“We’re so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year’s week,” Jackson wrote in an Instagram post when she first announced her new Las Vegas residency. “This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!! Jackson’s new residency will also follow her 2024 “Together Again” tour, which concluded in Glasgow in October.
The Together Again tour featured Jackson’s hit songs including “When I Think of You,” “Control,” “Nasty,” “That’s the Way Love Goes,” “Together Again,” “All For You,” “Alright,” “Escapade,” “Again,” “If” and many more.
At the time of writing, it’s still unclear what songs Jackson will perform at her new residency. A press release for the Resorts World residency stated that her performances “will bring world-class attitude, starpower, and the experience of a lifetime for fans from around the world.”
