A new tribute album for The Smashing Pumpkins is on the way! Titled *Sending Hearts to All My Dearies – A Tribute to The Smashing Pumpkins*, the album will be available digitally on August 14 and as a two-LP vinyl set on October 16.
The album features contributions from several artists, including Tame Impala, Palaye Royale, Nita Strauss, Meg Myers, Barns Courtney, Bones UK, and Des Rocs. You can already listen to Tame Impala’s version of “Hummer,” a track from the classic album *Siamese Dream*. Kevin Parker from Tame Impala shared that *Siamese Dream* was the soundtrack of his high school years, and “Hummer” brings back those memories for him.
If you’re eager to see The Smashing Pumpkins live, they will be on their *The Rats in a Cage* tour starting in September. During the tour, Billy Corgan and the band will perform their iconic album *Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness* in full, along with other fan favorites.
