A new photo exhibit celebrating Ozzy Osbourne is coming to Asbury Park, New Jersey. Back to the Beginning: Remembering Ozzy Osbourne showcases shots by rock photographer Mark Weiss. The show traces Ozzy’s 44-year visual journey, from early career moments to his final Black Sabbath concert at Villa Park in Birmingham.
Highlights include a 1981 portrait of Ozzy on the roof of Convention Hall in Asbury Park. Many photos capture his rise to rock stardom. Ozzy has called Mark “part of the team,” saying he has more photos of him than any other photographer.
The exhibit opens at Art Spot in Asbury Park on July 23 and 24, and runs through Aug. 17. Mark Weiss will attend the two-day opening to meet fans and sign copies of his book, The Decade That Rocked.
