A remarkable return? Faith No More releases a 2027 teaser snippet

Faith No More might be making a comeback! The band, known for their hit “Epic,” hasn’t performed live since 2016, but fans are buzzing after they posted an image on Instagram featuring the year 2027 and their logo over a crowd photo.

The band was supposed to return to the stage in 2021, but those plans were canceled when frontman Mike Patton faced mental health challenges. In a 2022 interview, Patton revealed he was diagnosed with agoraphobia, which made touring difficult. While he has since performed with his other band, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More has remained inactive.

Patton mentioned that the canceled tour left “broken feelings” among the band members. Keyboardist Roddy Bottum stated in 2024 that they were on a “semi-permanent hiatus.” In 2025, drummer Mike Bordin expressed concerns about Patton’s willingness to perform, while Bottum said no one seemed ready for a reunion at that time.

Now, with this new teaser, fans are hopeful that the band members may have changed their minds. Meanwhile, Patton has been playing some Faith No More songs during his tour with the Avett Brothers. Stay tuned for more updates!
